President John Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have extended a generous donation of GH₵50,000 to the bereaved family of the late highlife legend, Daddy Lumba, as they bid farewell to the iconic musician.

The donation was presented during the solemn yet celebratory final funeral rites held at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, where throngs of mourners gathered to pay homage to the departed maestro.
