ZDF Calls on Zongo Youth to Join Government Reset Agenda

The Zongo Development Fund (ZDF) has called on the youth of Zongos to embrace the government’s ’reset agenda’ as a new chapter to rebuild the communities.

The President’s reset agenda aims at reviving all sectors of governance with positive mindset in developing the country’s human resource and economic manifestations.

Speaking at this year’s Annual Bissa Sukuma festival at Alajo in Accra over the weekend, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the ZDF, Alhaji Halidu Haruna with the support of his deputy CEO, Hajia Rakia Abdulai called on youth in zongo communities to join the government’s crusade on reset.

According to the CEO, President John Dramani Mahama has a broad vision for the development of Zongo communities across the country.

The ZDF boss therefore urged youth to embrace government policies and programmes and support its agenda in resetting the country.

He also appealed to the youth to desist from other social vices and be a good ambassadors to their communities.

The deputy CEO, Hajia Rakia Abdulai, on her part told the alhajjnews.com ZDF would be coming up with innovative programmes and policies to help build the capacity of women in zongos under the leadership of Alhaji Halidu Haruna.

She pledged her support to her boss in helping him transform the fund and achieve the aims and objectives of the establishment.

The festival brought together politicians from different political parties, chiefs and opinion leaders.

Sukuma celebration is an annual festival being celebrated by the people of Bissa. It is the time of season that brings together family, friends and relatives together to champion a common goal.
