La Dadekotopon Muslim Community Congratulates La MP – Elect
La Dade kotopon Muslim community has congratulated the Member of Parliament MP – Elect for the area, Hon. Vicent Sowah Odotei (Obama) at his residence in Accra over the week.
The delegation which was led by Imam Alhaji Ibrahim Tijani Mensah, La Dadekotopon Chief Imam assured the incoming MP of their unflinching support and prayers as he assumes the role of a member of the legislature.
The visit was to formally introduce the council and its members to the MP-Elect and their readiness to collaborate with his outfit to champion the developmental course of the area.
Nii Amassah Namole, the Member of Parliament (MP) for La Dadekotopon in the Greater Accra Region has failed in his quest to retain his seat in this year’s general elections after polling some 38,504 votes.
He was beaten by Mr. Vincent Sowah Odotei, former Chief Executive Officer of Accra Hearts of Oak football club who garnered 40,126 votes.
