Asuma Banda’s Second Wife Arrested For Kidnapping

Information reaching thealhajj.com confirms that the second wife of Alhaji Asuma Banda, Edwina Babaa Coussey, has been arrested by Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) of the Ghana Police Service for unlawfully hostage.

Our checks at the Regional DOVVSU office reveals that, on the 30th November, 2021, Madam Edwina Baaba Coussey was arrested and granted bail by the Police.

Our impeccable source revealed that, she has been charged for denying the man access and freedom to practise his religion as a Muslim and also denying to see his family.

Meanwhile, there are indications of her unwillingness to cooperate with the police in their investigation as efforts made to visit the business mogul proved futile.

Some concerns have been raised as to why the former Airport District Police Commander, C/Spt Eric Asamoah Asiedu who was alleged to be on her payroll allowed to video Alhaji Asuma Banda but denied access to his family to see him.
