YEA Opens Registration For Artisans, November 28th Deadline

One of the models of the agency that is poised to tackle the rising youth unemployment in the country has been unveil in Accra on Thursday 11th November, 2021.
This is to ensure that youth are giving life skills training to help build their career in the trade sector of the economy.
At a press conference held today to announce the program to the ghanaian populace, the Chief Executive Officer, Lawyer Justin Kodua-Frimpomg explained that the agency’s target on this module stands to recruit about 200, 000 youth by the end of 2022.

According to the CEO, Ghana Statistical Service has estimated about 86.1% of all employment are found in the informal sector.
With this, 90.9% of women and 86.1% of men work under uncontrolled, unregulated circumstances that were not conform to the standards.
Mr. Konduah was very optimistic that the sector would realise its full potentials as the hub for decent jobs for the benefit of many youth including graduates.
Areas of interest includes, plasterboard installation, interior decoration, plumbing, carpenter, masonry, and aluminium fabrication.

The rest are tiling, landscaping, general electricals, steel bending, painting and welding.
The online portal for the registration has been opened and would remain open until close of day Sunday 28th November, 2021.
