Chiefs And People Of Anamase Kingdom Fetes American Royals
Anamase Kingdom in the Achiase District of the Eastern Region, on Wednesday 22nd September, 2021 fetes its newly installed African-American royals.
An occasion marked in front of Anamase Chief’s palace at Anamase to welcome the royals into the town.
A short durbar organized to honor their chieftain and make the feel at home, brought together chiefs and people of the great kingdom to give them a rousing welcome.
In his welcome address, the Akim Swedrohene chairman, Nana Obeng Asiedu commended the African – Americans for tracing their lineage back to Africa and Ghana.
For him, their decision to come back home was a loudable one and urged them to bring their experience and expertise on the table to develop the country and Africa at large.
Due to lack of transparency on the part of of African leaders, the continent according to Nana Obeng Asiedu, the people are suffering.
Listening to their mission and vision to help alleviate poverty in their respective communities, the Swedrohene chairman happily declared his 100% support to their couse.
On his part, the chief of Oblieman and chairman of Anamase Royal Alliance Council who doubles as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Centre for International Chamber of Commerce (CICC), Nii Ayitey Anumle Oyanka I, reiterated their commitment to develop the two kingdoms.
He explained that that his decision to bring in their brothers and sister from the diaspora was mainly due to the failure of politicians to deliver the good of the country.
King Oyanka I, was very optimistic that if kingdoms form alliance just like he did with Anamase, people would not rely on politicians for the development of their areas.
“Successive governments have failed the people, we the chiefs can do it if we put our heads together just like its happening today”, Oyanka said.
He revealed further that ” the money to develop your communities is ready, if you don’t support your chiefs to get that money, your areas too will not get development, the government alone cannot do the job”.
The short durbar attracted massive turn out by the people and chiefs of Anamase.
Nana Aboagye III, family head of Anamase kingdom took the opportunity to thank Nii Oyanka I for his support to the Anamase kingdom and lead the delegation to their river god to seek blessing, prosperity, protection and wisdom guidance.
