MCE Presents NPP Decorated Trophy For Best School On Indep. Day Celebration
The Municipal Chief Executive Officer (MCE) for Ayawaso East Municipal Assembly in Accra, Hajia Salma Mohammed Sani-Kuta has got Ghanaians lambasting the 6th March anniversary celebration of the Municipality.
What mared the beautiful celebration was when she presented an NPP decorated cup to the best performing school at the parade instead of cup decorated in the colours of Ghana flag.
This decorated cup in NPP colours annoyed the spectators who throng the Kaokudi park and the invited guests, chiefs, Assembly members amongst who were questioning themselves of how come the trophy was in npp colours instead Ghana colour to signify unity and importance attached to the 6th March Independence Day celebration on Sunday 6th March, 2022.
Furious looking faces of Ghanaians who graced the occasion expressed disappointment of the organizing committee and the MCE for painting National event as mere political party celebration.
The Assembly members also felt disappointed about the deliberate attempt by the organizing committee of the Municipal Independence Day celebration to make it look like an NPP event.
