Resign You’re A Disaster – Alhaji Sheriff Tells Finance Minister

The National Executive Committee (NEC) member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Alhaji Sheriff Abdul-Nasiru has taken a swipe at the Ministerof Finance, Hon. Ken Ofori Atta.

Describing his 6yrs in office as a total disaster that needs immediate interventions.

According to the NDC kingpin, the country’ economy is in a reverse gear due to the abysmal performance by the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) led Nana Addo’s government.

The business mogul urged the minister to tender his resignation letter immediately to the President to save himself from further disgrace.

He suggested that the Minister should put away pride and call for professional advise from Hon. Seth Terkpe, his predecessor.

With this, Alhaji Sheriff promised to help by leading a delagation from the ministry to speak to the former Finance Minister who would be willing to assist, only if Ken Ofori Atta wants Ghana rescued from current economic mess he has created.

Following the failure of Finance Minister, the NDC NEC member was also quick to remind Mr. Ken Ofori Atta of his critics of the Mahama administration on taxation.

“You critisied the then NDC led Mahama administration for introducing numerous taxes, today, what has changed?”, he quizzes.

“…..the minister must know that his days of honey moon are over and he is in his 6th year and he still can’t fix the economy”, Alhaji Sherif added.

He blasted the minister of been pride, and refuses to succumb for professional advise from stakeholders to rescue the country from further sinking.

To this end, Alhaji Sheriff advised that the Minister withdrawn the obnoxious E-levy since the Ghanaian people are not in support of it.
