Nima Shooting: Arrest Rioting Youth – Chief Tells Police

The Greater Accra Peace Chief, Mr. Abdulai Mayuka (Fiston) has called on the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr. Akufo Dampare to as a matter of urgency arrest all those involved in Nima riot.

According to him, there is the need to arrest more of these gangsters to face prosecution to serve as a deterrent to others.

Chief Fiston, as he is popularly known also called for the immediate disbandment of all “bases” and gettos to weed off criminals from the communities.

Chief Abdulai Mayuka was speaking to thealhajj.com in an interview after the rioting incident at Nima last Tuesday.

He indicated that the time has come to rid Nima and Maamobi of all deviant to halt them from their negative activities and instill investor confidence.

The Peace chief, however consoled the family of the victims and urged them to be calm as the police has taken up the issue for further investigations.

He expressed hope in the Dr. Dampare led current Police Administration and advised the family to take heart and justice would be served.
