Krachi Nchumuru MP Supports Education Directorate

National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament (MP) for Krachi Nchumuru constituency of the Oti Region, Hon. Solomon Kuyon has supported the Education Directorate with learning materials.

The donation comes at the time the Education Directorate was facing serious challenges in discharging its administrative works and equipping students with modern ICT skills.

Hon. Solomon Kuyon presented 14 laptops, 7 dell desk top computers and two printers to equip the Education Directorate discharge enhance ICT training in various schools in the District.

Speaking briefly during the presentation, the MP advise the GES District Office to put the items into good use.

For him, the GES office would continue to receive his support to help boost education in his constituency.

Hon. Solomon Kuyon was very optimistic of supporting the educational infrastructure in the area and would ensure every child attain quality education in the Krachi Nchumuru District.

The laptops and desktop computers donated according to the MP, was to improve on the teaching and learning of ICT.

He said this has become necessary to position pupils and students towards the world of digitization.

Hon. Kuyon congratulated the teachers in the district for their courage and sacrifices for the preparation of their final year pupils and students towards the just ended BECE and the West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in spite of the Covid-19 pandemic.

District Education Director, Mr. David Seddoh expressed his appreciation to the MP for the support.

According to him, the support came at the time the Directorate was facing serious challenges to train some teachers.

He thanked the MP for his timely intervention and promised to put the items into good use.
