E/R-Nkawkaw: Businesswoman, NPP Guru Feed 500 children
The Chief Executive Officer for Nkawkaw Park N Pork pub and New Patriotic Party (NPP) constituency women organizer hopeful, Madam Diana Akosua Adomaa aka ‘Daakyehemaa’ has held a 2022 children’s new year party, feeding and entertaining some 500 children within the Nkawkaw Municipality.
The gesture, which is an annual event initiated by Madam Adomaa to put smiles on the faces of children at the begining of every year, brought together children from across the Nkawkaw township, especially the vulnerable to make merry, have fun and demonstrate their talents through singing, poetry recitals, dancing and eating competitions with winners of category awarded with goodies and some cash prices.
Speaking to journalists on the motivation behind the gesture, Mr. Nana Yaw, NPP constituency chairman hopeful who chaired the event noted that, the new year party was initiated by Madam Diana Akosua Adomaa as an annual event to put smiles on the faces of children in the area and also use the opportunity to present gifts and motivate the children into the new year.
On her part, the CEO of Nkawkaw Park N Pork, Madam Diana Akosua Adomaa, aka ‘Daakyehemaa’ indicated that, she initiated the annual children’s party as part of her arms giving obligations and also use the opportunity to help motivate the children to focus on their God given talents and abilities.
“Giving and making children happy has always been my priority and that is my motivation behind this annual event. Every year, the number of children who attend increase and so this year I mobilized for 500 of them,” She noted.
Madam Diana Akosua Adomaa finally appealed to parents to encourage their children to focus on their talents and academic works in order help develop society together.
