Medikal Remanded To Prison For 5 Days
AMG Music signed rapper Medikal, born Samuel Adu Frimpong, has been remanded into prison for five days.
The rapper becomes the second Ghanaian entertainer to be arrested, charged amd remanded into prison in the last few days, the first was Shatta Wale.
Medikal was remanded when he appeared before an Accra Circuit Court on Friday, October 22, 2021.
He was arrested In the late hours of Thursday, October 21, 2021 for brandishing firearm in a video he posted on his social media pages.
Medikal will be spending five days in prison and will reappear before the court on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 for his final verdict.
His wife, Fella Makafui was spotted in court to show support to her husband few hours after he was rushed in by the police.
She was seen in videos busily having a conversation with some lawyers who they reportedly hired to defend the self acclaimed rich musician.
It is not certain if Medikal will join his Godfather Shatta Wale at Ankaful Prison or if he’ll be transferred to Nsawam.
