We’II Expand Prisons For Corrupt Akufo-Addo Appointees
The National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress, (NDC), Mr. Sammy Gyamfi has charged Ghanaians to vote out the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) come 2024 elections so they can be held accountable.
He most of NPP appointees will be imprisoned on grounds of corruption and misappropriation of public fund after 2024.
Speaking at a press conference on Monday, August 30th in Accra, Mr. Gyamfi said that he has every right to label the NPP appointees and executives as thieves due to the many evidence available to him.
“If the NDC is voted into power in 2024, you will see how we will prosecute NPP members for the corruption. NPP members will go to jail in drones when we come in 2024”, he said.
He also described President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as the class captain of corruption who has ensured that every member of his family has benefited immensely during his reign as President.
According to him, the President and his Vice, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia are deep in corruption and as such cannot fight the canker.
Going forward, he admonished the General Secretary of the NPP, Mr. John Boadu not to comment about related matters because he has beem fingered in a serious galamsey scandal.
He said that the Ghanaians have not forgotten about the Mr Ekow Awusi galamsey scandal where he was fingered as the mastermind behind illegal mining in rural areas.
He urged Mr. Boadu to take steps to clear his name of this huge scandal or leave press conferences of corruption to Mr Buaben Asamoah or Nana Akomea.
