Akufo-Addo’s Disaster Policies Impregnates Our Young Girls – MP Laments

Hon. Member of Parliament (MP) for Tain Constituency in the Bono Region, Adama Sulemana has lambasted the Akufo-Addo/ Bawumia administration for their bad policies.

According to the legislator, the double truck policy rolled out by the Nana Addo led governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) was the result of the increased teenage pregnancy in our vulnerable communities across the country.

He said it is a good policy Nana Addo came to expand, and instead of completing the infrastructure, the E-Blocks Former President John Dramani Mahama started in that direction Nana Addo neglected them to rot and instead implemented the Free Senior High School (FSHS) policy.

For the five (5) years, the NPP government could not increase any infrastructure in the education sector but went on to roll out the shambolic Free Senior High School (FSHS) policy.

The MP made this statement was he granted interview to thealhajj.com at the parliament house in Accra on Friday.

To this effect, the member of the legislature also reiterated the call for the review of the FSHS policy which he said was badly implemented.

He pointed out that one of the best policies the former Minister of Education in the erstwhile Mahama led NDC administration implemented by Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang was to make pregnant students be allowed to write examinations.

The Tain MP further revealed that NDC’s policy to replace schools under trees could not continue under the Akufo Addo/Bawumia administration leaving schools under distress conditions.

In addition, he stressed that with all the resource received by the NPP government Ghanaians are experiencing the hardest economic hardship ever.

He explained that the abysmal performance of the Akufo-Addo led NPP government for the first time in the history of this country, brought citizens to demonstrate on the street of Accra to fight for better economic condition dubbed “#fixthecountry”.
